Mental Health
1 in 4 people experience a mental health problem each year in the UK. Some of those people feel that they are unable to cope alone and seek out support to help manage or recover from their condition.
People with mental health problems may feel embarrassed about their condition or that it will expose them to social stigma. Some people struggle under the pressure of coping with a mental health condition which can make any difficulties that they are feeling seem even more insurmountable.
At Beresford House, our support staff have the knowledge and expertise to support those experiencing issues with their mental health. Our aim is to support residents who would like to regain control of their lives. Individual care plans and risk assessments are discussed and agreed with each resident to ensure that their needs are met. This approach allows individuals to live in a way that works best for them while receiving the support they need to continue managing independently.
